Rooster Money gives my children control over their pocket money, saving pots, charity giving and spending. Using the app they can see exactly how much money they have on their card and in their savings pots. With the parent app, I can do the same. It’s easy to transfer money into the parent account and then onto their cards (I have three children). There is no limit to how much you can transfer and no fees for doing so. I can set spend limits for amounts and locations and the contactless has to be reset after 5 uses. Freezing and unfreezing by the card when you think it may be lost (and then finding it again) is super easy. Basic replacement cards can be ordered free of charge. Reviewed on: 16th April 2025

This is a brilliant way for kids to learn about organising their money. Really hoping they will add the pots idea to adult bank accounts too. It would support us all. Reviewed on: 16th April 2025

Absolutely brilliant!

We have been using it for months now, and both myself as a parent, and my 2 kids love it. Grandparents pay pocket money straight into it aswell, it's so easy. I put all their chores on, and as they do them, it automatically adds their money on. Reviewed on: 16th April 2025

The rooster card is great for kids. My kids have learnt to budget and save with use of the App. They now understand the difference between a debit card and credit card. The card has always been accepted in all the shops the kids have used it all over the uk. Its really easy to set up. You can set limits on how much you pay into the holding account and then put into your kids account. You always get updated when they use their card. You can check the amount left on their card through the app. You can also set up weekly top ups on their cards as well as set up a chore list for pocket money. Once you approve the chore the money goes on their card. The rooster card is easy to used, easy to navigate the app and easy for kids. Its definitely educational. Reviewed on: 16th April 2025

Ideally I’d like to be able to add card to Apple wallet but as she is 12, this isn’t possible. Reviewed on: 16th April 2025
