After comparing the different services on the market we found Rooster Money to be ideal. No ridiculous limits on transactions and - with our Natwest accounts - no monthly fee to pay. Ideal! Reviewed on: 15th February 2025

A great debit card with built in safebuards

I have used the Rooster card for two of my children. It is great for helping them to learn how to manage their money, while being able to keep a close eye on their spending. I also love that you can withhold all or part of their allowance until chores are completed, and you can set the allowance to pay regularly when it suits. The fact you can tag what money is added or withdrawn for is really helpful when you are checking what amounts relate to. The app is simple to use and my kids have found it really simple. It has been a great introduction to using their own card with great built in safeguards. Reviewed on: 15th February 2025

Fantastic service

I use the Rooster card for my children and it’s such a great service. Free as I have an account but even if you don’t the fee is so nominal. Great communication and very easy to manage with the app. Reviewed on: 15th February 2025

Family Banking

My partner and I have a joint account and have also added an ISA and savings account at NatWest. Most recently, we set up a Rooster account for our teenage son. It is easy to transfer money between accounts and online banking makes this quick to access and action payments and transfers. Reviewed on: 15th February 2025
