Excellent service from Newbury Basingstoke to help open a savings account and transfer funds. Advice from Ken was extremely helpful to determine right account to suit needs with terms and conditions fully explained. Selected account was set up efficiently and without any hassle. I couldn't start my new savings account on line. Spoke to a representitive who was really knowlegdable and it was sorted in no time. Always impressed by the Newbury staff compared with some other B.S's and the interest rates are always very competetive. Reviewed on: 31st May 2024

I SPOKE TO CUSTOMER SERVICES RE A NEW SAVINGS ACCOUNT I HAD OPENED AND HOW TO FUND IT. THE CALL WAS ANSWERED QUICKLY AND POILTELY AND BELIEVE BY JAKE OR ZAC. (SORRY) HE WAS ABLE TO HELP WITH MY QUESTION FULLY AND SAID NOT TO HESITATE IN CALLING AGAIN IF I STILL HAD AN ISSUE. WHATS NOT TOO LIKE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE LIKE THIS. Reviewed on: 24th May 2024

Spoke to two separate advisors, Rachel and Deborah on two occasions to set up an ISA and standard savings account after receiving and inheritance. Taking out a Fixed term savings bond takes time

I wanted to take out a Fixed term savings bond. I was surprised that the counter assistance was not able to do this for me. Instead the Manager came forward to ask some questions regarding my identity, although I have been a customer for many years. I have 2 other savings account held for many years I found this quite time consuming. Eventually I passed all back office checks. Apologies were given for time taken and Manger was very polite.
