Just closed ALL of our accounts because os staff attitude.

The staff at Wokingham are awful. Their “customer care” skills are nonexistent. We were regularly made to feel uncomfortable and intimidated by the attitude, and lack of knowledge and ability. Not sure that they understand your systems. Training definitely required. Attitude is a problem. Reviewed on: 6th December 2023

Having Spent 15 minutes try to register my new account without success I have given up. Whilst I have entered my password & memorable which seemed to be accepted I was unable to complete the application as what ever way I tried to insert a hint word it wouldn't accept it , so I have given up . We had set up a new savings account online but wanted to make sure it was ready to receive a deposit and to make it a joint account. Richard was extremely helpful and managed to ensure that the account was ready and advised us to switch to joint and branch operation, once the deposit is in. Reviewed on: 1st December 2023

Transfering between accounts

I've just opened a new account. I want to transfer funds from other Newbury accounts into it. I thought it would be straight forward but was disappointed. When I try and make a transfer from my existing account to my new account the new account is not listed as an option to select. Reading FAQs I see that I have to send a secure message and ask for the new account to be added as a transfer option to the existing accounts. This seems very convoluted. At the time of writing I am still waiting for staff to respond to my secure message request, which I submitted yesterday. All very frustrating. I hope you can make improvements to this scenario.
