Excellent and efficient service

Keryn at the Wokingham branch gave excellent and very efficient service. She was friendly, clearly knowledgeable and went above and beyond what I was in there for. She independently followed up on a query as she felt an answer she had been given by head office was not entirely clear so sought more information. She then called me after I had left the branch to pass further information on. Reviewed on: 14th April 2023

Poor communication

The following extract from an email sent to me sums up my experience with NBS, "I will be conducting a thorough investigation into your concerns.  Once I have completed this, I will write to you again.  I expect to be able to resolve it within two weeks but if this is not possible I will write to you with an update at that time". I received it on 14th of March and have had ZERO contact since. then. Reviewed on: 14th April 2023

Is communication a problem?

I went to the Thatcham branch last Monday week., 11 days ago, to open two accounts It has taken 7 working days (Easter intervened) for this to actually happen, and for the last 2 or 3 days they have been trying to call me, but I have not been home early enough to return their call. I tried today and got through to another branch because Thatcham's switchboard was busy. Eventually, today, they sent a voicemail to say that the accounts were now open.. Why all this time?...and if that was the message, could they not have voice-mailed me before? Nevertheless, I like to use local businesses where possible and I am happy to invest locally too.
