I’m very annoyed that although you’ve done electronic ID verification on my account you have stated that ‘on this occasion you require sight of a bank statement’. Why was I not notified of this when I opened the account as I’m not happy sending you a bank statement where you can see my transactions. I have been personally regulated by the FCA since 1987 and I take your request as an insult. Furthermore, you have failed to reply to my secure email sent via my account. I will be moving my money away from you very soon and will be advising my clients not to invest with you. Reviewed on: 13th January 2023

New savings account-easy job

Great support from office staff

Amazing and Friendly Service

The Service at Newbury Building society is exceptional all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The society offer lots of different products and the interest rates are also very good I currently have 3 savings accounts with the society and plan to open more in the future due to the ease and convince of having a local building society! I opened a savings account with Newbury last year and have been impressed not just with the competitive interest rate I have received (encouraging to see in current economic climate), but the outstanding level of customer service demonstrated by the savings team.
