Great customer service

Renewal figure was over 40% more than last year initially. However, after calling and speaking to Mia (MB1), the cover was increased and the cost reduced. More than happy with the outcome but why the inflated fee initially? I cannot fault the agent, Mia for friendliness, professionalism and help towards a positive outcome Reviewed on: 28th August 2024

Very unhelpful insurance

Been paying for home insurance for years with one call but when last may my ceiling collapsed, I turned to one call believing that this is one of those unplanned situations in life that we take out insurance policy for. Firstly Once Call was very dismissive, didn’t not even want to open a claim saying my ceiling falling under one of the exclusions with any investigation, inspection, or exploring how best they could help me. They then passed me to their underwriters Covea and they in turn passed me back to One call and this happened several time causing me anxiety, stress, making me feel stupid, helpless and vulnerable. Each time I called I’d be on the phone for over 45 minutes due to being put on hold and being passed around from pillar to post. 3 months on I’ve had no help at all from one call. Super quick cancellation :)

It was incredibly easy to get through to someone to cancel my policy. Usually with many companies, you have to jump through hoops to do so. My agent Lucy, LB5 was extremely helpful and I managed to get what I needed to get done with ease. Lucy kindly suggested some alternatives to get me to stay but I had already paid for a policy elsewhere. My reasoning for cancelling was down to cost.
