Painfree payment processing, with Credit Card capabilities, finance and payment in 3 or 4, I had so far a good experience with PayPal, the only thing which stings is with Paypal credit, there is only one direct debit no automatic second approach complementing with a £12 fee, not nice. PayPal experience so far!

I have been using PayPal credit for a while now. The experience so far has been really good. The credit limit and utilisation itself has been really easy and customer friendly. An apt review for PayPal

It's fine to use for credit, but you need to make a note of the dates when PayPal will take payments from your account. Otherwise, you might forget, and if there isn't enough money in your account when the payment is due, PayPal won't always try to collect it again before charging a £12 missed payment fee. This can even happen while you're repaying your balance or after you've already made payments towards clearing it. Reviewed on: 7th July 2026
