Flexible way to spread costs without paying interest

I've been using PayPal Credit for a while now and it's become my go-to for larger purchases. The 0% for 4 months offer on purchases over £99 is genuinely useful. I recently used it to spread the cost of a purchase and, as long as you clear the balance within the promotional window, it costs nothing extra. What I like most is how seamlessly it sits inside the normal PayPal checkout: no separate card to carry, no new login, it just appears as a payment option wherever PayPal is accepted. The app makes it easy to see exactly what's owed on each promotional plan and when the 0% period ends, which takes the guesswork out of avoiding interest. Approval was quick and the credit limit was sensible. The one thing to be aware of is that the standard interest rate after a promotional period is on the higher side, so it rewards being organised set a reminder to pay before the offer ends. For anyone who shops online regularly and wants short-term flexibility without a traditional credit card, it's hard to beat. Reviewed on: 13th July 2026

I do like using paypal as it offers flexible payment services, however I have found recently some instability issues where payment options fail at checkout and it seems to be a glitch in the app. Sometimes pay in 3 options are not showing for purchases over £30 (Just Eat seems to be the main example) but otherwise it’s good Reviewed on: 13th July 2026

PayPal Credit.

I love PayPal Credit. I use it regularly as it is hasstle free. PayPal do all the payment set up and keep me informed of payments made and outstanding. It is a great way to speread higher payments over four months. Reviewed on: 13th July 2026
