PayPal started strong and have continued to improve!

I've used PayPal since their earliest days in the UK, on the very rare occasions I've had any reason to contact Customer Services they have always been polite, helpful, clear in their explanations and quick to act when somethings needs doing / correcting. Paypal Credit is superb.

I've been using my Paypal Credit card for large purchases towards the renovation of my home. It's so easy to pay the monthly bill via the app. The automatic 4 months interest free credit is fantastic as this allows me to purchase when I need rather than when I get paid! Reviewed on: 2nd July 2026

Great credit account, until you try to pay it off

On multiple occasions I've tried to pay off my account but the transaction has taken 3-5 working days to leave my bank account, without showing up on my pending balance or being taken as a pre authorised payment. This has then lead to me not having enough money to pay off my account. Easy to use however needs improving

Easy to use and clear communication. The delay in showing balance updates can be worked on becuase it doesnt update for some time. It also is quite slow in taking payments for monthly credit etc. Reviewed on: 2nd July 2026
