Halting PayPal payments to fraudulent vendors

I found it difficult to halt PayPal payments made in error. I had a fraudster complete a sale, then try to tell me that the item was no longer for sale and unavailable to me as the purchaser. If payments are made automatically (by default), then it must be easier for the customer to get refunded, when the sale doesn't go through at the vendors (I have had this happen with a vendors website, which crashed at the critical point in the transaction and monies were taken by a third party.) Im using Paypal Credit for most of my expenses. It is providing me different services such as Pay in 3 and 0% for 4 instalments which other dont provide. Overall a satisfied service from my end. Reviewed on: 14th April 2026
