An indispensable easy to use travel card

I use paypal as I live in Donegal but only a few mikes from the Northern border, which means I exchange Sterling and Euro oftrn. I use it when travelling to various countries and find it easy to exchange and pay using PayPal. It's also great for sending money abroad as gifts to family in places such as Vancouver and Singapore. I like the Rev points system and the savings option too. It's then only card I use when abroad. Reviewed on: 1st June 2026

A Useful Option When You Need More Flexibility

I've used PayPal Credit several times for larger purchases when I didn't want to pay the full amount upfront. What I like most is how easy it is to use within PayPal, especially when shopping online. The application process was straightforward, and I could see exactly what I owed and when payments were due. The biggest benefit for me has been flexibility. As a business owner with a young family, cash flow can vary from month to month, and being able to spread the cost of purchases has been really helpful. If I had one criticism, it's that you do need to keep a close eye on repayment dates and terms to avoid unnecessary interest, so it isn't something to use without planning ahead. Overall, I've found PayPal Credit to be a reliable and convenient way to manage larger purchases, and it's become a financial tool that I use when the timing of a purchase matters.
