I often use PayPal pay in 3 to help manage slightly bigger purchase and make them into more manageable amounts, I also like the fact that payment will be taken automatically, or you can choose to pay sooner if you can or want to. Reviewed on: 9th July 2026

Easy to use and manage.

I like that the minimum qualifying spend is £23 as it means I can spread the cost when I'm at my last few pounds till pay day. It's also an option across many sites not just a select few. Being interest free means I'm not worrying about having to factor-in interest when making re-payments and the re-payments are easy to manage through the PayPal website. Plus I recently had to refund a massive clothes order that I used PayPal pay in three for and as soon as the retailer processed my refund, my Pay-in 3 was cleared and I was issued a refund for the first payment and I didn't have to do anything outside of physically returning the items to the store.
