Beyond Expectations

I’ve had a PayPal account for about five years, but I never actually used it until this year when I booked a holiday. Paying through PayPal was incredibly straightforward, I just logged into my account, and everything else was taken care of. I didn’t have to worry about when the money would leave my bank account, whether the payment had gone through, or cancelling the payment once it was complete. Since then, I’ve found it so much easier to send money to friends and shop online. Looking back, I honestly don’t know why I went five years without using an account I already had. Now that I’ve started using PayPal, I can’t imagine going back. It’s made managing payments so much simpler, and I’ve had a really positive experience with it. Reviewed on: 8th July 2026
