About this product

Plum works by linking to your bank account using Open Banking and analysing your incomings and outgoings to look for areas where money can be saved. It then sets this money aside automatically, adjusting to your spend and what you can afford.

Sensible Investing that is just right for me.

I now invest monthly with Plum after seeing negative returns month after month from other well-known investment providers. 2022 was a bumpy year for all investments, so I was naturally expecting to have losses on all my investments. They did drop for a little while, but bounced back relatively quickly whilst using and investing with Plum. I love the simplicity of the app and the Powerful products available at your fingertips. Plum saved me so much money!

Plum saved me so much money! All you need to do is just set your preferences and rest is pure magic. Plum adapts to my spending and saves me more when I spend a lot and somehow when I try to be careful about spending it takes less into my savings. Helps the market is doing well but in the long term that doesn’t matter. What matters is that you save and that is precisely Plum’s jam - pun intended. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2026

Best saving/investing app

It’s brilliant at saving, organising and investing money. Easy user interface and really responsive customer service. They also get in touch when markets close, when there are (very rare) issues with the app and anything else relevant. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2026

Plum is an excellent app for investing, particularly if you are new to the game. You can invest as little or as much as you like, and the management fees are hugely reasonable. There are also options to auto invest sums of cash at regular intervals, and you can pause this whenever you need to. Customer service are very responsive should you have any queries, and selling shares is also very simple. The app could do with a little tidying up/simplifying but always works. There are lots of savings options too if you like with good interest rates. Reviewed on: 13th June 2025
