Took such a long time to get through the hoops of getting the mortgage in the first place, relevant paperwork we supplied kept running out of date and we had to keep starting again- we nearly lost the property. In fact, it was only when we told our agent to forget it and find another lender that you approved our application immediately. Reviewed on: 5th June 2025

Very Friendly, helpful service as always. The only building society/bank where you can actually speak to a British person, who can help you without being transferred to 10 million different non english speaking random people who just pass you on to someone else. NOONE at Saffron has ever failed to help me and I am a pain, as I am always wanting to no someone. The ONLY challenging thing with Saffron is that I keep asking to have the info emailed to access the saffron APP but the email never arrives. No matter, because I can ring Saffron and be helped that way. Brilliant service - thank you all very much :-) Reviewed on: 4th June 2025

Excellent service I contacted Saffron B S to port my existing Mortgage and apply for a Top Up to buy a new build house, I spoke to Kimberley Willett, Retentions Adviser who went through everything that was needed to apply for the Mortgage, Kim gave me advice on the options available to me and went through everything with me! Lisa the Hero.

Lisa Howard is an absolute asset to your company. The Communication from underwriters was ok, and the fees are expected, but Lisa Howard is exceptional. One of the few people ive dealt with in customer service who seems to genuinely care about the lives of customers. She is personable, informative and most importantly - seems a genuinely decent person. Having worked in customer service before, i know from experience the job is very rarely about outcomes - particularly those you cant control. Its about making customers feel like someone is actually interested in solving their problem and is doing their level best, which is exactly how i felt. 5* for Lisa.
