Great service, solid products, actual humans

I've been with Saffron for almost 5 years. They were one of the few that could offer the financial product I needed. But over those years the communication has been excellent, and today I called them and a human being answered straight away! That is unheard of these days. Fantastic First Impression!

Today is my first day as a Mortgage Customer with Saffron Building Society. I have just received my welcome email with my User ID to log into my online account. But I was having problem login in. So, I decided to call Customer services for assistance. I felt so pleased to have had Alannah on the other side of the line! She was so helpful, knowledgeable and professional. She talked me through the process so patiently. She didn't leave me until she was sure that I was successfully logged in. She gave me an excellent first impression of Saffron Building Society. Saffron Self Build - Well Managed

Saffron have been very good at managing my self-build mortgage. They lost my business at the end of that by not providing a replacement product quote at a comprable price in a speedy manner, however the mortgage servicing team have worked very quickly to provide all the necessary details to the new provider Reviewed on: 22nd January 2025
