Great Staff

Your staff are both friendly and helpful. I feel they are a little let down by the IT, however, I have not used the app so I cannot give you feedback on that service. Egress seems to have issues with handling files. Reviewed on: 20th May 2024

Buy to let with parents as tenants

I have taken out a buy to let mortgage that has my parents as tenants. I am ensuring they have a home for life! Although saffron are one of the few lenders to offer this, it’s interest only and I’d much prefer a repayment mortgage. Customer service from saffron has been excellent! Actually saved my sanity when my solicitors were dragging their feet. Very friendly, down to earth and explained everything really clearly. Reviewed on: 30th April 2024

Mortgage payment changes ..

We asked if we could have a mortgage break due to unexpected circumstances with my husband's health, and we mutually agreed to pay interest only for 6 months, whilst we release some equity from the house to pay off the mortgage balance. Reviewed on: 29th April 2024

Extremely dissatisfied

I am very disappointed in the service provided to me when coming into difficulties with a change of name for sole proprietor purposes for my mortgage. The bank was not willing to consider a UK citizen residing in the United States to take over part of the mortgage to allow me to keep the property and the competitive rate. I don’t believe the bank has done everything in their power to help genuine working class people to keep hold of their livelihood after working hard to attain this. Reviewed on: 25th April 2024
