We have been Saffron Building Society for over 50 ye...

We have been Saffron Building Society for over 50 years, so that was before its name change. We had our mortgage with them and our savings. We have been in today for our yearly check of our finances, we saw Alasdair and he explained to us all our options and made it very easy to make a decision on what to do, and came away very impressed on how well things had gone. I wanted to save with a local building society.

I hope by choosing a local building society I am helping local people to buy their own home. Local branches with experienced staff are very welcome. My only problem is that I have to request an annual statement of my savings. Other banks and building societies send annual statements. Reviewed on: 20th April 2026
