Contradictory information given by Saffron about an ISA

My experience is hopefully unusual. I had tried to pay money into my ISA, but received an email to say that money had been taken out of it. When I rang to query, I was told that mine is a fixed rate ISA, and I cannot pay any more into it. However, I had previously paid money into the ISA with no issues. So essentially I've been given contradictory information by Saffron, and do not understand what the status of my ISA is. I do feel that a building society should understand its own products, and be consistent. Reviewed on: 12th November 2024
