Trouble with opening an account for spouse

We tried to open an account for my spouse but because the funds were being sourced from my account the application was rejected. The rules surrounding financial transactions obviously had to be adhered to. Reviewed on: 22nd July 2024

Had to ring twice to explain and get action my request although I had already emailed on 2 occasions detailing what I I required. I also had to follow up with a further phone call to complete a transaction which was promised during one of the said calls. Reviewed on: 19th July 2024

Society procedures neec to be improved.

I was unable to transfer money from one of my accounts online despite the fact that I operate all my Saffron accounts online. On the telephone, a very helpful member of staff was able to transfer the money to my nominated account but I couldn't. “Clunky” procedures like that certainly detract for the Society’s appeal to me.
