Online account admin is difficult.

Your online administration of accounts is a mess.I am forever being locked out of my account because I can not remember my "special answer". The reason being is that the question is never provided. Accessing online accounts with Saffron is much harder for customers than with equivalent organisations.I have to phone up to have my account unlocked but teh hours I can phone up are the hours I work (i'm an IT trainer) so i can not answer the phone when a member of Saffron calls to unlock my account. Entry of maturity instructions for an ISA

I spoke to one of your on call staff. She was able to do what I wanted and was courteous and friendly. I wanted to enter maturity instructions for my Cash ISA and could not find a way of doing it online. This apparently was because I was trying to do it too early: too many days before the maturity date. As you had sent me an email asking me to do it. Sign up process for a business

Sign up process for a business always involves having to send paperwork (proof of bank account or incorporation) to Saffron by post, which seems very old-fashioned and slow. However, it does get processed quickly on arrival and then the systems seem to work well. Reviewed on: 18th July 2024

Staff were extremely helpful.

My own bank was making it difficult to transfer an investment to my new Saffron account but after a phone call to Saffron it was easily resolved. The member of staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I was also pleasantly surprised that my call was answered quickly - an extremely rare occurrence with any business these days!
