Visited Bishops Stortford Branch this morning. Was able to speak with the consultant Kendra without an appointment. Very pleased with the service as always, new account opened and existing account switched into a higher rate account. A loyal customer since the 70s. Reviewed on: 2nd September 2026

The customer service, whether that be in branch or over the telephone, is always brilliant with Saffron. I spoke to Lewis on the phone today but the same could be said for all of the staff. They are so well trained and that must stem from the management, so keep up the hard work. I have dealt with a lot of companies in my lifetime but I cannot say the same about all of them! Telephone conversation with Saffron staff is just great. It’s a bonus to speak to someone in this country. Today it was Cassie Jones, delightful, helpful and friendly. She answered all my questions with no fuss and followed. My instructions bro the letter. Very efficient. Thank you. Saffron offer good rates of interest especially to existing customers. I live in another county and as such my banking is done on the net and phone, banking wth Saffron over the years has been Troyble free and enjoyable . A bank I would recommend .
