Telephoned last Saturday morning.

Telephoned last Saturday morning. Waited over half an hour to speak to someone. My queries were answered to most of my satisfaction, but I felt sorry for the staff on duty. Was it a good idea to announce the new regular saver on a Saturday morning with so few staff on duty? Would it not have been better to bring in more staff on Saturday or leave the announcement until Monday? Reviewed on: 5th June 2024

Excellent small and local building society

It is easy to contact Saffron by phone and speak to a real person. The staff are always helpful, friendly and polite. Communication whether by post or email is efficient. Interest rates are generally good. Reviewed on: 5th June 2024

Access to a Branch Network

With so many bank branches closing it is good to be able to still go in to a branch and carry out transactions rather than having to do it all on-line Reviewed on: 5th June 2024

System failed to execute my maturity instructions

The internal systems failed to execute my maturity instructions sent by secure message. The society did correct the error and put me back as I would have been if it had been done correctly in the first place (but didn’t offer me £5 for having to track down the error send them more communications and generally faff about). Their staff were knowledgeable, polite, helpful and friendly to deal with just the systems needs a bit of work done. Reviewed on: 5th June 2024
