A problem solved with good grace

I have several one year savings accounts with SBS and I went into the Haverhill branch about one account as the renewal form wasnt very clear for what I wanted to do. The gentleman there filled in the form but then due to a glitch in the computer system update my instructions were not carried out. I contacted SBS and a lady working from home investigated what had happened. She then asked me to come into the branch to sort it out and , without me asking, gave me a goodwill payment as compensation for the inconvenience. It was a bit worrying but all sorted out satisfactorily in the end. Reviewed on: 15th January 2024

Queues in the branch

Service good, however each time I have visited SW (different times different days) I have had to queue for anything up to 30 minutes - one day I had to leave after queuing for around 15 minutes, as I had to be somewhere, and it was obvious I would not be able to get to the appointment in time. Outstanding customer service

I visited your Royston branch to transfer some money from my savings account to my bank account and found the whole process very quick, simple and effortless. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Reviewed on: 10th January 2024

Customer service as it should be

I have to praise Trinity in the Colchester branch for her excellent customer service her first rate professionalism. By chance I popped into branch to get my grandchildren’s books update- only to find maturity directions were not as I requested. This young lady spent a good deal of time sorting everything out in a professional reassuring manner. The level of customer service she offered is something that is unfortunately missing in today’s busy world .
