A good place to be!

I've always been offered good interest rates on easy to manage savings accounts. Only twice in many years have I spoken to someone on the telephone and both times my query was dealt with efficiently and in a helpful and considerate manner. I will happily continue to save with the Saffron for as long as I have money to save. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026

This morning I contacted SBS to sort out getting a 1 year Fixed rate loyalty bond, as Florrie Gray had emailed me the other day regarding my accounts. I explained to Zoe Collins my situation and she was most helpful in dealing with the matter, including a second t/c I made to update what I had originally informed Zoe I wanted to deposit as an addition . I have received ideal help from both Zoe and Florrie, and for that i am most grateful. They are excellent and helpful communicators. 10 out of 10. Really good eggs all round! No way to withdraw funds

I have an 'instant access' account with Saffron. I went to withdraw from it an could but work out how. I didn't ages trying to find a way, including logging in via mobile and web but could not find a way. I went to the help section and followed the instructions there. The instructions were wrong. I contacted customer services and they responded the next day to say that it is not possible to withdraw from the 'instant access' account. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2026
