All policies have an uninsured driver promise protecting your no claims discount and no excess to pay if you're hit by an uninsured driver. Depending on the policy, there are extras you can add on to the policy to provide more protection.

I have both my car and motorhome insured by Saga. I have used the 3 year pricing policies as they are competitive this year. As policies seem to be going up in price for me I thought I would lock in this years price to save having to go through the comparison websites again next year. Had an accident that was my fault.

Had an accident that was my fault. All the detail was covered during a telecon so no paperwork for me to fill in. The end result was handled brilliantly and without administrative hassle. My car was a write-off and all I had to pay was the excess. Reviewed on: 13th August 2025
