Saga. Is human centric

Having used more than a dozen different providers for vehicle insurance across thirty years nobody has even come close to Saga. You are treated as a human being. Very disappointing!!!! Wont ever use again!!!!

I offered my home and car insurance to Saga, purely by accident , but as a young 65 year old thought they’d offer a good deal. But how wrong was I. Absolute no support on a car scrape I had, apparently I had clicked on ‘voluntary excess’ and ‘excess of £150’ which meant I had an excess of £500 , which didn’t cover the cost so it did don’t cover any costs! They couid not explain what ‘voluntary’ was? I didn’t therefore claim anything but when renewal was due, my costs increased from £250 to £530! When queried, they said I’d made two claims !! Neither of which is taken up! Would not use them again! Reviewed on: 23rd April 2025
