Absolutely appalling

I am shocked and appalled with the service I am currently receiving from Sainsbury's bank, specifically their credit card department. In 20 years of using other high street banks, I have never had to complain. In 8 months of using Sainsbury's bank I have had to complain three times, make multiple enquiries, had my card cloned and now, since the card cloning, cannot see any transaction history on my account, despite a balance being present. The nectar points that I am supposed to be accruing with regular spending are absent (complaint raised two weeks ago) are still absent as are the 'sorry' points that they were transferring me. The technical team should be shot, naked in the street for the poor excuse of a banking platform, that is impossible to use from a mobile device and for their lack of an app, possibly the only high street bank now not to have one. Frankly, Sainsbury's should stick to peddling eggs and bread and leave banking to the big boys. Absolute, swivel eyed, lazy, inflexible, opaque, fat cat shonkers who should be hung out to dry by the FCA. Reviewed on: 19th August 2017

Good credit card if you shop at Sainsbury's

The nectar credit card allows you to collect points as you spend. I use it for shopping at Sainsbury's and large purchases, this allows me to collect points and paying off the credit card regularly keeps the interest charges down. Nectar points are good for spending on goods I store or services and offers which are available to view online. The website provides an easy way to keep an eye on your spending and making payments, a direct debit is a good idea but being able to pay more online is handy. Interest rates aren't the best but not horrendous and if paying off in full every month points can be earned with little outlay. Reviewed on: 4th July 2017

Customer service not quite there

The process of filling paperwork was good. However was given several different things I needed to do and ended needing to re-apply. But now I have the card all is good Reviewed on: 30th June 2017

Good welcome rewards,no initial fee

Nectar credit card is good.Easy to reach target to get points worth 100 pounds of shopping with sainsbury which is awesome really.American express so cant use everywhere but can use most renowned places and online so not too bad.referral bonus for friends as well Reviewed on: 29th June 2017
