Money transfers are slow to appear. Online service is dated - applying to add accounts, really? Desperately needs an app!. Reviewed on: 25th July 2024

In branch service review

After a difficult and lengthy ISA transfer with many hiccups, the branch manager in Glasgow was extremely helpful in resolving this. Reviewed on: 25th July 2024

Friendly, efficient, traditional

I like having a local branch in Glasgow, Queen Street staff are friendly, courteous and efficient. The Scottish Building Society has a traditional feel and the customer feels valued. It's a mutual society, not a bank. Very low profile though, publicity could be improved to attract new members. Reviewed on: 25th July 2024

Traditional, personal service

On our visit to the Glasgow Queen Street branch today we met with a really helpful employee and all went well. Personally, I like the fact that the Society is relatively small and one does not deal with staff in faraway places. Reviewed on: 25th July 2024

All my queries were comprehensively dealt with in an efficient, reassuring and friendly way and I wondered if I was asking crucially relevant questions about what I really needed to know without being at all sure what to ask in the first place. Reviewed on: 23rd July 2024

Super, smashing, great

Great staff, great service, good savings rates. Opening times are a bit restrictive especially as the nearest branch is 50min drive away. Reviewed on: 19th July 2024
