Behind the times

Fixed rate bonds and fixed rate ISAs on maturity are reinvested and we are given new account numbers which is unnecessarily complicated and makes keeping records difficult, why can't we have the same, other building societies do? Surely this would be less complicated for customers and SBS!. Reviewed on: 9th December 2024

Excellent customer service

It is a breath of fresh air to be able to deal face-to-face with friendly, helpful staff. That is a huge differentiator from having to put up with the frustrations of dealing with bots and call centres which other organisations use. Reviewed on: 5th December 2024

Efficient, trustworthy, pleasant

Always a good and trustworthy experience at Galashiels. Passbooks are important to me and SBS still provides them. There is nothing at all you could improve - my opinion is that they are the best of all the financial institutions I deal with. Reviewed on: 5th December 2024
