A great company to deal with, have a look at them

At all times they have been very helpful and friendly. This includes before, during and after setting up a policy.

I have a life insurance policy with Beagle Street, underwriters being Scottish Friendly which myself and my husband have paid into for 10 years. Unfortunately my husband died in Sept 2023 following a road traffic accident. The insurer has moved the goal posts for submitting my claim time and time again. First they need death cert - tick. Then check Dr's records- tick. Then Post Mortem - Tick. They're happy to take your premium for 10 years but find excuse after excuse to delay payout. It's disgusting. No compassion and no real I'm understanding. Shameful!!!!! Read more Read less

    Dreadful company

This company took my money for 10 years, and when I asked to surrender the policy gave me no reason why this was not possible, no interest either in ten years

I set up 3x ISAs for my sons, however there’s little information regarding the type of ISA you’re setting up. I was very confused when opening and ended up doing a different type of ISA for each child - not realising this would greatly affect their loss and gains in terms of interest. I’ve now closed these accounts be wise of this, one child had 3x the amount in his account compared to the others. I wish there had been more information when I opened the accounts as I would’ve liked to have kept them open. Another issue I ran into was being unable to share details for transfers eg for family members who wished to deposit into the children’s accounts. The only option for deposits with Scottish friendly is direct debit - you can’t make a BACS or even card payment transfer. Read more Read less
