The best online bank

I've had savings held with Shawbrook bank for a number of years now and can honestly say they are quick to respond to queries, friendly & polite, have great interest rates and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them Reviewed on: 20th March 2025

Account Opening Difficulties.

Switch of way to confirm bank details from where funds forwarded to Shawbrook has its problems and difficulties unless you use a mobile banking app. Came in whilst I was opening a third account. Despite accepting my new deposit from the same bank as the previous two these details were not initially accepted. Took several days to resolve. Also 2 people holding individual accounts with Shawbrook cannot use the same internet account. Following amendments recently introduced. Reviewed on: 20th March 2025

I have had little reason to contact Shawbrook direct...

I have had little reason to contact Shawbrook directly but on the occasions when this was necessary the attention given quickly resolved any difficulty. The bank is good at keeping in touch with regular email contact to explain or remind of future changes so that I am always up to date with my accounts. I would have no hesitation in recommending Shawbrook to family or friends. Reviewed on: 20th March 2025
