Everything you need in an excellent package

Excellent app functionality, prompt customer service responses - one of the only banks offering business accounts during the pandemic, when I needed it most! Reviewed on: 14th March 2024

Super easy online banking even for a technophobe Luddite like me

I switched to Starling bank earlier this year as they’re much more ethical than my previous bank but it didn’t start smoothly. There was a glitch setting up the account and I thought “here we go again with a truck load of frustration” but I called Starling’s technical team and they sorted it out straight away, with no long waits on hold, just genuine helpful human beings. Excellent bank for an SME

Starling feels like a bank created for the 21st century. We moved after getting very frustrated with HSBC and have never regretted it. Everything seems to work properly and help and support (via the app) is excellent and is far better than the in-branch help that we usually struggled with at HSBC. Reviewed on: 28th June 2023

The perfect account for our small business

As a small business we wanted to make sure we got the best account that gives us scope to change and expand as our business does. From opening the account, to contacting Starling, to the ever evolving options given we could not have chosen better. Great account but watch charges

The business account from Starling is a great asset to the company and sorting out the finances. However, charges can be hefty especially if working in a cash rich payment type business as only a small amount can be deposited without hefty charges. Reviewed on: 2nd June 2023

Easy, simple, hassle free on-line business banking

Surprised Starling Recommendation

I switched to Starling Business Bank Account on a recommendation of a work colleague, but was very nervous as don't like just using apps normally, but I got used to it soon enough! #OldSkool! So, more importantly, not only do they not charge your fees for every direct debit like other business banks, they also allow you to create a space in your account for VAT or HMRC tax bills, so you don't think you're more flush than you are each month and teach you to save for these outgoings.
