Good basic account for primary sch age group

I like being able to have easy access to my son’s account and monitor transactions etc. why don’t you allow a child to have the experience of paying cash into their own account? This is possibly the worst feature of this account along with the child being easily able to access their account via the parents banking app on a phone/tablet. Reviewed on: 12th April 2024

Simple - easy - free

Setting up the 2 children's kite accounts was so easy online, which is a rarity these days! The cards arrived fairly promptly, and the setting up of the apps on the children's devices was so easy too. The fact I can manage there accounts so simply by my own app also adds to a completely flawless setup.......and it's free. Couldn't be happier Reviewed on: 12th April 2024

Kite account brilliant!

This is a great account for my daughter. She is able to learn about money, saving, spending, budgeting, earning and money as gifts and rewards without this coming at a cost. This is a great way to enable youngsters to become financially literate in way that everyone can access. The addition of the app for the children to use allows them to develop their sense agency and independence whilst having the safety of this being linked to the adult. Using this account has sparked lots of curiosity and conversations surrounding finances for my daughter and this will provide her with a solid foundation for learning and managing money going forward. Great experience and value for money...

Seamless experience, great value for money, with free overseas transactions and no admin fee for Kite. Would recommend to anyone who wants a debit card for their kids with solid parental controls and immediate notifications of transactions. Reviewed on: 12th April 2024
