Review of the Starling Bank, Under 16s card:

Straight forward easy to use .

Straight forward easy to use . Great way to teach children money management skills safely. Value the ability to vary spending allowance and to be able to switch off account if the card has been mislaid by forgetful teenager Reviewed on: 14th April 2024

Has transformed my 9-year old into a savings maestro

My daughter prefers packed lunches to school dinners and so each week I put £12.50 (approx. cost of school meals) into her Kite account and we go to the supermarket where she buys her week's packed lunch contents. Not only has it taught her about the difference in price between branded and own label goods, she has saved nearly £300. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023

Very easy for kids and parents!

Highly recommended bank

I’ve used starling for my business for a number of years. I decided to open a personal account for myself and my family. My children have really benefited from having their own account and learning how to spend and save money wisely. The plus is that my wife and I can monitor their spending without micromanaging them which helps with their development and understanding of money. Highly recommend to parents. The most innovative and family friendly bank

Starling Bank has been outstanding in managing my children’s kite account. They are currently doing fantastically amazing things with the kite accounts which no other bank has done. In fact it does appear other banks are trying to copy Starling Bank. My kids now enjoy banking because of Starling Bank. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023

No bank like it

My daughter can use a card to be independent when she goes out to Brighton shopping . Her account info and spending shows up immediately on screen so I always know she has enough money. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023
