Easily accessible account for kids

I wanted an easy way to put money on a card for my daughter who is 12 so she can spend her pocket money when out in her own. Big banks won’t give people under 13 a debit card so no good. Found Starling kite and the setup was easy. Several months later my daughter is still using the Kite card and account. Reviewed on: 4th February 2022

Flying High with Kite

Love it

Excellent account for teenagers

Kite is an excellent way of providing teenagers with controlled access to their finances, with a card they can use for purchases when they are out and about but the ability for parents to monitor what they are buying, and set constraints as well as limits Reviewed on: 4th February 2022

Great learning tool for children

Having th kite account has really added fin to shopping for my children. Whilst learning the responsibility of spending they are able to budget for what they wish to buy and we are able to send rewards directly over to them Reviewed on: 4th February 2022

Stepping stone to learning financial responsibility

Two of my children have a kite account. I think it's a fantastic feature as it teaches them to be responsible with their money and introduces them how to save and spend money. I love the feature that allows my eldest to have access to her balance on her card from her own device as it gives her a sense of responsibility but I can still control all aspects of her card from my own starling account to keep her money safe and to keep an eye on what she's using her card for. The real time notifications when a transaction has been made is one of my favourite features as it goes through to not only her device but mine as well. And for only a monthly subscription of £2 a month you honestly can't go wrong! Reviewed on: 4th February 2022

The best service I have ever used

Only £2 a month per account they have own cards that are contactless I have full control on where these cards can be used and daily limits control too. They have the feeling of having there very own bank account and I can easily transfer into accounts from my own internet banking app I can also set that every Friday a payment goes straight to their account when I am paid. It’s brilliant Highly recommend and have recommended to any one that mentions wanting a account for children Reviewed on: 4th February 2022
