Top Bank

Starling is a very apt name, you only have to watch a murmuration of starlings to see the accuracy, speed and coordination of their flight. Which I think sums up the bank to a tee. Everything spot on, transactions shown instantly, and smoothly. Reviewed on: 22nd February 2022

Love Starling

Simple, effective banking

Signing up was easy. The app is simple and clear. Making payments and transferring money is easy. So far I've not had any negative experience. Reviewed on: 21st February 2022

Easy, clear, trusted

I know some people might be skittish operating with a bank that has no actual premises to go into, but I've never had a problem. I can put money into my account from post offices and I trust I can speak to a knowledgeable advisor on the phone or online if I ever have a problem (so far not needed!) I love how easy it was to set up saving spaces and be able to link my account to other useful apps such as Quickbooks. I'm self-employed (sole trader which is why I don't have a business account with Starling, yet) and need to set up a pension scheme. The fact that I have a choice of apps that I can do this with that will link to Starling just makes this seemingly arduous task so much more straightforward. I don't usually read company newsletters but I find the Starling newsletters engaging, interesting and useful!
