The bank of the times

I have had an account for a couple years and I have watched other banks fade away. When I joined Starling, I signed up through the application on my phone. It was very easy. I confirmed my identity online, with somethey help me via live chat. I can upload cheques to my account. When I am a little out of pocket, I find a few spare pennies that have been automatically saved for me with each purchase. Starling is progressive and targets the current age and that is wonderful. Older people seem to get left behind in the times. This encourages them to adapt and embrace them. It welcomes them into the new age. Reviewed on: 5th March 2021

Ease of use

Control

I use my Starling Bank Card as a spending Card both here and on holiday. It means I only need to take one card out with me and I can control everything from my smart phone. I also like the fact that as my phone is linked to my watch I always get immediate confirmation that I’ve spent something.. it’s easy to load the card and is ideal for spending small amounts like Metro tickets in foreign cities without incurring stupid fees. Customer focused, ecological, diverse

Starling bank are the most conscientious customer focused bank I have ever been with, they're always putting customer needs first. They also focus on being environmentally friendly which is very important to me. Being branchless and paperless really reduces their consumption of plastics and paper along with their pledges to environmental causes. I was recommended to this Online bank by one of my Sons. Great app and no fees

The new app feature "saving spaces" is very useful for separating payments for bills and money to put aside for savings from my daily spending money. Also, as a traveler and expat, it is extremely beneficial that Starling does not charge international fees. This bank is definitely the right choice for me and I would recommend it to anyone!
