The bank of the times

I have had an account for a couple years and I have watched other banks fade away. When I joined Starling, I signed up through the application on my phone. It was very easy. I confirmed my identity online, with somethey help me via live chat. I can upload cheques to my account. When I am a little out of pocket, I find a few spare pennies that have been automatically saved for me with each purchase. Starling is progressive and targets the current age and that is wonderful. Older people seem to get left behind in the times. This encourages them to adapt and embrace them. It welcomes them into the new age. Reviewed on: 5th March 2021

Banking how it should be

Reliable, flexible and user friendly

I LOVE Starling! I really value being able to categorise my spending into different areas so I can keep track of spending, ring-fencing funds for bills in dedicated 'spaces' and also having 'spaces' to save for specific items. It is convenient to be able to pay in / withdraw money at the post office, and to photograph a cheque from home. When I have contacted customer services the response has been informed and efficient. 21st century banking - as it should be

I was skeptical about Starking, but I needed a simple addition to my 'traditional' bricks and mortar bank. I'm aiming to switch all my banking to Starling as soon as I can, because it's genuinely all the things you need from a bank, but reimagined without the clutter, the hassle and the usual air of fear and reverence. Saving spaces, ridiculously straightforward bill management, and more, all without the delay, the clunky infrastructure, and the endless complication of traditional banks. Fantastic festuess

Excellent game changer to banking convieniently

Starling has augmented my banking life with long time banking choice HSBC. It's to the point now that most of my funds occur via Starling; including KITE which has been great for my sub 16 little one in her tween years. Reviewed on: 17th January 2022

Total control

Peace of mind, knowing that you have full control of your card. Especially when worried about using dodgy cash machines when travelling. I just lock everything and open when needed. Reviewed on: 17th January 2022

Banking for the real world

I cant even say that Starling are forward thinking. Its more that they seem to be the only bank that have REALLY listened to the average, everyday person and created a bank and an app that meets those needs. They do a few things exceptionally well, rather than having all manner of complicated, convoluted accounts and products that don't quite hit the mark. The app makes banking so simple it's almost unbelievable. And founded by a Welsh woman to top it all off. The most exciting thing to happen to modern banking in a very long time.
