The bank of the times

I have had an account for a couple years and I have watched other banks fade away. When I joined Starling, I signed up through the application on my phone. It was very easy. I confirmed my identity online, with somethey help me via live chat. I can upload cheques to my account. When I am a little out of pocket, I find a few spare pennies that have been automatically saved for me with each purchase. Starling is progressive and targets the current age and that is wonderful. Older people seem to get left behind in the times. This encourages them to adapt and embrace them. It welcomes them into the new age. Reviewed on: 5th March 2021

Security

Unnecessary security around a client making a small payment. Apparently I’m considered a possible mule’. Causing considerable embarrassment to my clients who tried to make payments and could not. Also consequence of being unable to access my funds for several days. Reviewed on: 28th April 2021

Easy to Use, Intuitive and Consise

Find the app very easy, quick and responsive. Always thought this new disrupter banks, app based service etc was for younger people, but I'm in my 50s and loving how customer focused the whole experience is. Conventional banks can be hard work to deal with and very set in their ways (I know, I've worked for Citibank and HBOS) but Starling seems to be very forward thinking. Reviewed on: 27th April 2021

Simply the best no ifs no buts

Refreshing change to banking

Great back that is not like the rest. Quick and simple to set up an account with an excellent app that allows you to do what you need to do. Heard a lot about Starling and have to say it is all true they are a Great Bank to be with. Reviewed on: 20th April 2021

The best by miles

Having business and personal accounts with other main UK banks, moving to Starling was by far one of the best decisions I’ve made in recent years. Customer service is second to nine, their tech is way ahead of everyone else in the market and not only that they are headed up by my hero Anne Boden who has created a proper, stable financial institution and not a digital hype made of straw like the other weak contenders! Highly Recommended Internet Bank

I have nothing but praise for Starling Bank. Easy to open an account after a few but very necessary ID Checks. The App is very easy to use and all transactions can be sorted into categories either automatically or manually, so it’s very easy to keep a check on your spending.
