The bank of the times

I have had an account for a couple years and I have watched other banks fade away. When I joined Starling, I signed up through the application on my phone. It was very easy. I confirmed my identity online, with somethey help me via live chat. I can upload cheques to my account. When I am a little out of pocket, I find a few spare pennies that have been automatically saved for me with each purchase. Starling is progressive and targets the current age and that is wonderful. Older people seem to get left behind in the times. This encourages them to adapt and embrace them. It welcomes them into the new age. Reviewed on: 5th March 2021

I feel secure with this bank

Bloody Brilliant

Do you remember having to wait a week or more if you forgot your PIN? yeah, me too. It was in JANUARY from a "big bank" - and what can you do if you're left with no card, no cash and no food???? Well, basically, starve, steal or go busking!!!!! But, with Starling, just one of the things I love is that, if I forget the PIN, I just go to the app, open with my fingerprint (can't forget that) two clicks, one more fingerprint and YOU HAVE YOUR PIN. INSTANTLY. and THAT, that one simple, speedy solution, is just one of many things I like, even love, about this company, this app, this account. Reviewed on: 31st March 2021

Reliable app, easy to navigate. supremely reliable with great products

The Starling Bank App has been great to use from day one, and has made really useful additions along the way. I recommended Starling to some family and friends too, who also love it. Simple, easy, no nonsense

Best ever easy online access to a bank access

Best ever easy access to an online banking system and have already dumped ONE of my land based banks because of their complicated and overly detailed access system. Keeping the other as I want to talk directly to human beings vis-s-vis when i want information, advice or problem solving. Reviewed on: 31st March 2021

Failing to resolve post Brexit issues with SEPA

As an internet bank they are quite good but since Brexit, at the end of 2020, my SEPA DIRECT DEBITS to Starling are all failing. Water, Electric, Community and other direct debits are all going unpaid. The fix Starling suggests simply does not work, I have tried it several times. Their customer support people take the view that it is my problem and I should resolve it myself with each of the banks that my suppliers use. This is neither realistic or helpful. So, in my opinion, they are a good bank until there is a problem: then they become Ostrich Bank! Reviewed on: 31st March 2021
