Good bank

Been with Monzo and Starling banks Starling stands out with fee free atm abroad , free cash deposit at post office, low overdraft fees and just feel better. Reviewed on: 7th February 2020

Safe, Secure and Simple to operate.

I originally opened my Account as there were no extra charges for using ATMs in Europe. Even though travel is now a distant memory I have come to use my Starling Card more and more, with no problems. Good to see that Which Magazine is impressed too! Reviewed on: 24th January 2021

Banking for the 21st century

I was a Smile customer. Online banking suited me. But Smile never progressed their offering and it's horribly outdated now. Then Starling. Simple sign up and switch. Great visibility of my money. Instant notifications of money in and out. And the 'spaces' - effectively ringfenced savings pots - are so easy to use why would I ever want a separate savings account ever again. The 21st Century bank!

I opened an account with Sterling Bank as I had been searching for a bank that I could use when I visited Spain, which I do quite often. I just needed a banking card that I could use, just like I do in the UK, without thinking about conversions/rates or having to tell the bank when I was out of the country etc. So basically I was looking for hassle-free banking. It's my money, so why am I always made to feel as if the bank are doing me a favour? As well as a completely transparent UK account I also have the added benefit of a European account. No more worries about conversion etc. If I want to pay using euros I pay in euros direct from my Euro account. I can do almost instant transfers between accounts, so again no worries about delays in transferring of funds. I cannot recommend Starling Bank enough. Seriously the rest of the banking industry needs to fast forward out of the 19th and realise the 21st Century is here! Reviewed on: 24th January 2021

I have a number of bank accounts and i can say for certain that Starling Bank is by far the best bank i have ever been with. The customer service both over the phone and via live chat is 2nd to none and the app is the best banking app i have ever come across and really user friendly. Great modern bank with good ethics

Very happy customer

I started using Starling as a secondary account and very quickly changed it to my primary. The functionality and how it helps me better view and organise my finance is brilliant.
