Good bank

Been with Monzo and Starling banks Starling stands out with fee free atm abroad , free cash deposit at post office, low overdraft fees and just feel better. Reviewed on: 7th February 2020

No clutter no gimmicks

The easiest account opening process, especially great convenience during the Pandemic. It shines out as an example setting bank for everyone to learn from. Doesn’t have too many gimmicky features or perks. Just works, instant, transparent and swift. Highly recommend. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2021

What more could you want

I opened my Starling account due to going on holiday (back when we could) and they offered no fees when spending abroad, but I have truly found it the best account I have, simple and easy to use, efficient and focused on customer satisfaction, I have recommended widely, and now wouldn’t go back to any other bank! Brings banking into the current century!

I love the app, it's simple and intuitive, gone are the days when you made a transaction, and waited days or a week to see it appear, all the while wondering if it actually went through, Starling is instantaneous, and you are alerted on your phone, it's the way banking should be. Simple, Dynamic, Fair

This Account is simple to administer with an easy to set up guide. Dynamic feature allow quick view to balance and money movements as well as interest clearly shown and promptly paid. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2021

A simple to use & well-organised app

The app is very easy to use and keeps everything organised. All payments are sorted into categories and you get monthly visual breakdowns of your spending. You also get notifications every time money goes in or out of your account & you can personally approve payments through the app as well. Budgeting is also very easy - you can save towards personal goals through ‘spaces’ and your balance in your current account is adjusted accordingly. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2021

A Bank for the 21st Century

Having had an Offset Mortgage account for twenty years its upcoming maturity meant I needed to change. After reviewing all the conventional high street banks accounts I came across Starling. It was ridiculously easy to set up and everything worked flawlessly first time. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2021

Innovative, responsive, trustworthy

I took out a Starling Joint current account in December 2019 and was very impressed with the speed of response to my application; everything was up and working within 24 hours, which, compared to the main High Street banks was lightning fast! The Starling App is very easy and intuitive to navigate, providing all the functions I require within 1 or 2 clicks. It also provides detailed upcoming transaction information and alerts which I have never seen on other banking apps. The app has never failed or been unavailable or slow to respond which is a marked difference to my previous bank. Finally, I admire the philosophy and approach of the bank's founder, Anne Boden, which signals a change from the old banks' parasitic attitude where customers were targets for money-making, to a more symbiotic attitude where the financial health and prosperity of both bank and customer is the desired and most sustainable outcome.
