Good bank

Been with Monzo and Starling banks Starling stands out with fee free atm abroad , free cash deposit at post office, low overdraft fees and just feel better. Reviewed on: 7th February 2020

Straight forward and honest

Very simple to use and gives you up to date reporting on spending.

This account was easy to open and I got going almost at once. I was interested primarily in having a Euro account as I have a small pension which is paid in Euros but I lose out as it's paid to a sterling account. Now that my Euro account is set up I am going to switch the payment over. In the meantime I'm using the Sterling account and it's just so good as I get instant reporting on my phone. Easy to use, amazing features and fee free international cash withdrawals

Best bank to bank with without going to a branch and taking full advantage of fee free international cash withdrawals, just amazing. Also like how the app segregates your spending any gives you a summary of where you have spent your money. Reviewed on: 24th January 2020

Convenience

Although I do most of my banking online I do pay cash into my account. Barclays have shut my local branch [I'm in London] so I have to drive or get a bus to another branch. This is totally inconvenient for me. With Starling I can go into my local post office in the high street and pay the cash straight into my account and then continue to shop in the high street. Closing so many high street branches of banks has not helped pollution or retail shops in local high streets. Well done Starling. Reviewed on: 24th January 2020

as an ex Bank clerk employee definitely recommend starling bank as a modern bank of what the people want, and not being fobbed off with insurance,loans,overdrafts, etc. Hated being forced to sell stuff as a bank employee and not care about the customer. Everything just works so well
