What's not to like?

Starling bank is quickly becoming my primary bank account, something I never thought would happen with a mobile-only bank account. If it weren’t for the fact that I need a student bank account, Starling would definitely be my bank. The interface is lovely, the notifications are handy, and the card is pretty neat too. Only reason I haven’t given 10 stars is because most of my friends are students too, and need student bank accounts also. Currently hold accounts with HSBC, Santander, Barclays, and Metro Bank, and have recently been with Monzo too. None of them have anything on Starling bank. Reviewed on: 19th January 2020

Great service and great bank

Although it took me a while to set up my account due to difficulty in uploading my documents, the service has been great. I particularly like using my card on holiday as I get a great exchange rate without any charges. I love getting the updates when I spend or transfer money. Also, I have used chat a couple of times and found the team extremely helpful. Overall a great bank and would highly recommend Reviewed on: 19th January 2020

Really the best

I never have seen bank like this . I talk to everyone about starling. I am from Bg and I live in London for 3years . I have hsbc card from the beginning and about 1 year and 2-3 months ago I did Starling bank . From the way I created it to the way I used it overseas, I was excited and i am still excited. I recommend it to everyone , and to the people who don't live in UK-"Go and do it ". Starling +s: 1. Creat by your phone at home ( I just took photos of my documents and record myself on video and maybe something more , but it wasn't took more than 15-25 min , the account was immediately created , and I get 500£ overdraft immediately as well ( for the period the money help me a lot ) , low overdraft fare 2. The best app without 1 glitch for all time I use it . 3. Travel !!! It is amazing really. No fare to pay somewhere (it is usually for the banks) , but here is no fare to withdraw!!! Not just the EU countries , it is everywhere, all the world!!! I never have seen something like this . But it is not the best , the best is and unreal is the course when you withdraw or pay with other currency. When I saw it my mouth was opened for a minutes . It is better rate than Google show you when you check for example: GBP to EURO or GBP to MAD . I checked it by myself in Morocco, France and Bulgaria. Gbp to bgn 1:2.29 shows google yesterday , I paid 340bgn it is took me 147.62gbp it is 2.303... it is better. Usually in good exchange bure the course is 0.05-0.10 less than Google. In bad bure is possible everything:):):) Highly recommend it !!! I hope the bank we grow up in all Europe and after everywhere , it will make the financies for everyone much better and easier .
