Perfect banking in the modern world

Very fast user friendly app which makes managing your money so easy. Its particularly useful when travelling in the Euro zone as payments of any amount can be paid through Google Pay, instantly. The conversion takes place in seconds and shows the sterling amount. Good exchange rate and no fees, brilliant. Reviewed on: 3rd January 2020

Easy, seamless, powerful

The app for Starling Bank easily matches those of other challengers in terms of its speed and ease but also offers the detail and performance of those of the larger banks too. This is an app that says “let’s make an app that helps us bank better, and let’s build a bank around that” not just “we’re a bank that offers an app”. From its friendly interface to an incredible team of customer support staff, this is a 21st century bank and app in every sense, which work in perfect harmony without any of the hassle and, crucially, without compromising anywhere leaving me to get on with the important stuff day-to-day, knowing that I have a bank that’s ready when I need it to be. Easy and versatile

Honestly so happy with the switch to Starling. Easy to sign up, easy to switch, amazing security and optional extras such as disabling gambling websites or online purchases. The live notifications on your purchases as well as having saving 'spaces' to store money so you can't spend it in your main account. It's easy to create a joint account too. Just be near the person you want to have a joint account with and follow the simple instructions. Their customer service has been amazing though at times incredibly slow. But I couldn't recommend anyone else other than the best bank around (that's Starling btw) Reviewed on: 3rd January 2020

The best banking experience I have ever had.

Every aspect of this bank has been top notch - from the initial sign-up, to the excellent foreign currency rates, the mobile app, and every time I have needed to speak to customer services the response has been prompt, polite and helpful. Whilst abroad once I was a victim of card fraud, but using the app I could lock the account and then speak to Starling who arranged a refund and a replacement card straight away. I use them for both my current account and I also switched my business account across as I was so impressed. I wouldn't normally bother to review a company who are just doing what they're supposed to do, but I genuinely believe that Starling are doing it better than anyone else and they deserve to be recognised for it. So much better than the traditional banks
