Warm Fuzzy about Starling Bank

The Starling Bank app is the most user-friendly of any bank I’ve ever used. It’s structured in such a way that I know where my money is going 24/7 thanks to advance alerts before payments are due. I can make instant transfers to family etc And the Goals section encourages saving, with the option to keep loose change left over from transactions for a rainy day. Icing on the cake is female founder Anne Boden, as banking with a woman-led business gives me great satisfaction that I’m supporting equality and women in leadership whilst taking good care of my finances. Savings are easy

Having used antiquated apps with banks before it was a real eye-opener when I saw my friend use his Starling Bank card and App. I was so interested to see that when he spend on the card the App instantly pinged to say the payment has gone through. From that point I had to have a current account with Starling as it made my previous banking App look so old. I also take my hat off to the account creation process - it is quick and very easy to complete. Reviewed on: 15th November 2019
