Brilliant online-only account

I recently switched to Starling as I was working overseas for six months, and I feel like it's the best decision I've ever made! It's fast and easy to open an account with Starling, the app is very simple to use but gives you a lot of options and freedom with your money. There are no fees when you use your card overseas for transactions or to withdraw cash, and I love that I get instant updates on the app when money leaves my account. I can now use 'Goals' to set up mini savings accounts so that I can easily save up my money, and know exactly how much I have, without having to move money around between accounts, and no risk of accidentally spending my savings. With their new card I can even pay in cash at my local Post Office branch, and the Starling team are there 24/7 to help me with any issues that I have, even when I was in another country they did all they could to help me out! I can easily transfer money on the app, and can lock my card too if it goes missing, no fuss, no hassle. Who says you need high-street branches to be a good bank? Not me. Truly the best way to bank.

The starling bank app is the best thing on my phone. The spaces feature helps me to keep money saved and not dip into it as much. Plus the ability to deposit cash and cheques at the Post Office means there is a branch near everyone. Amazing! Reviewed on: 9th February 2019

An amazing current account that was quick and easy to open and a dream operate! I’ve been using Starling Bank for my main current account and I couldn’t be happier. The app is really great and easy to use. The customer support is friendly and efficient. I feel like my bank is working hard to make banking easier and more efficient every day. Incredible service that just keeps getting better. They have made banking into a dream. And between their email newsletters and in app service updates and new feature announcements I always feel like I'm being kept in touch with useful information yet it's always just the right amount, never too much.
