Essential!

The bank account I didn’t know i needed has now become an essential for me. Has helped me manage my finances and create saving goals in a way I hadn’t been able to do before Reviewed on: 8th February 2019

Best bank!

First of all, the application system is fantastic. I was able to open my account in a few minutes. The debit card came a mere three days later. No fees when using abroad. Best deal on exchange rate. Really easy to operate your account via the app. Ability to set controls regarding your debit card. For example, you can freeze it if you have misplaced your debit card. You can set it so that the card can’t be used online or in stores, etc. It’s really nice that they give you actual control of your debit card and money. Real time balances are so handy. Had to reset my password once. Totally my fault because I entered the wrong one in multiple times. A quick message to Starling and all sorted! Lovely customer service. Curiosity well rewarded!

I was sceptical at first. Id never heard or seen or read about a completely online bank. But the way that Starling works Is just amazing. The app is divine, serious thanks to the team who did that. Love the originality and ease of use within it. The setup process was completely hassle free and I was up and running within a few days, no hassle. Recommended to me by a friend, and I have now recommended it to several other friends. I love the features, can't wait to stick with it as it grows and hopefully within the next year or two make a full switch! Reviewed on: 8th February 2019

Very good app, very good bank

Offers more from a bank than any other!

I do/have banked with 10 different banks, and Starling is hands down the best. The best account opening experience, best customer service and best in all experience. The goals section meant I could FINALLY close random rubbish savings accounts and segment my money in a simpler way. I love the app, as it’s intuitive and easy to use. It offers all the functionality of other banks but in one place. The bank account I have been waiting for! Bringing banking properly into the 21st century. Peaks of Innovative Features...

Initially a sceptic of having opened a current account on my smartphone without 'facing any of the dreaded bankers', I was very much impressed with uploading documentation being on my App only. And waited for my impressive debit card to arrive within days. With the new (to me) feature of Spaces (saving for something specific) being linked with the overdraft facility:- A Nobel Award ought to be given to the brainy person who thought, as a simple layman (instead of all these mass murderers that the Nobel Prize Committee come up with, to publicise since dynamite was invented). How do Starling Bank anticipate to make thousands of millions of pounds (hundreds of millions isn't enough for modern bankers) if much of the innovative features and services are All part of free banking..?? Great online bank perfect for travel

I opened the account for our trip to India. It was easy to open online and I had a card within a week. There were a few dodgy transactions while i was overseas but the 24/7 customer chat sorted immediately and was extremely professional and helpful.
