It's a bank that is lightyears ahead of high street banks. It is clever yet simple to use and despite all app based the customer service is better than being face to face in branch. Reviewed on: 6th November 2018

Has completely revolutionised my banking...

Since leaving behind legacy banking and going 'all in' on Starling's fintech, I have truly not looked back. Everything from inter-person transfers of cash to the immediacy of general transactions is made easier and it makes me wonder why this wasn't always the yardstick for banking. Newer developments like saving pots and the incredibly easy 'sofa set up' joint accounts are the kickers in this incredible package. Well done guys! Reviewed on: 6th November 2018

How banking should be

Quick and simple sign up process, account opened in minutes. App is easy to use and any problems or questions are answered almost straight away via the in app chat facility. Amazing to be able to use your card abroad as you would at home and not worry about ridiculous charges. Reviewed on: 6th November 2018

Excellent spending insights and ease-of-use - just needs a few extra features

Starling's app is user-centred in its design and functionality. As well as its effortless interface, the app allows you to categorise spending and segment your money so you know how much you actually have to spend - while the money you shut away earns interest. It could be improved with a few tweaks to some of its features. The spending categories can't be customised, for example. This is a little frustrating, especially when it's a standard feature of most spending apps, such as Money Dashboard. On the rare occasions that the app hasn't made it easy to find the information I've needed, the information on the website is occasionally lacking. The's on-site content about overdrafts, for example, isn't nearly as comprehensive as it needs to be. Reviewed on: 29th October 2018

Clever and just better
